To all of our 4-H Family and Supporters,

On May 18, 2020, the Middlesex County 4-H Fair, Inc. Board of Directors voted to extend the previously set date and to keep the 4-H Fairgrounds in Westford CLOSED TO ALL ACTIVITIES THROUGH AUGUST 31, 2020. This vote means that the 2020 Middlesex County 4-H Fair, scheduled to be held on August 28, 29 and 30 has been cancelled.

Additionally, all other events and activities that had been scheduled at the fairgrounds through August 31 are also cancelled. This includes 4-H Club events (meetings, shows and other gatherings), grounds rentals and any other Fair related work, including Monday night work nights. This date will be reassessed in early July, and may be extended as deemed necessary.

The decision to cancel the 2020 4-H Fair was not a decision made easily or taken lightly by the Board of Directors. Our highest priority is, and will always continue to be, the safety and health of our exhibitors, volunteers and their families. The Board believes that this is the appropriate and prudent decision to make. And although we are hopeful that the reopening of the State will happen quickly and safely, it does not allow us the necessary time needed for all of the planning and preparation that goes into making the Fair a success.

We ask for your continued support of the Middlesex County 4-H Fair, as we plan for a return in 2021. If you have any questions or concerns, please direct them to the Board of Directors at office@4hmiddlesexfair.org.

Wishing all of our 4-H Family the best, Middlesex County 4-H Fair Board of Directors
